CARES project delivery

Turn a CARES award into a project you can deliver.

Once your group knows the funding conditions, FLO can help plan the approvals, installation and records needed to deliver the work.

Every property is different. The free survey checks what is possible before you commit to a system.

The answer you need

What should a CARES delivery plan include beyond an installation date?

It should map every condition and approval, supplier milestone, site-preparation task, decision owner, payment, commissioning record and claim document needed to complete the project properly.

The property-specific checks

What will FLO check for your property?

We use these details to work out what is practical, what needs more investigation and what the next step should be.

01

Translate the award, procurement, consent and claim requirements into dated actions.

02

Programme

Allow for design, grid, equipment, access, installation, testing and defects—not only site days.

03

Evidence

Name who retains quotations, approvals, invoices, certificates, photographs and commissioning records.

The next step with FLO

What will your assessment and quote cover?

FLO starts with your property, then explains the recommended work, the price, important exclusions and the next steps in writing.

Good to know

Questions you may have.

Should the programme work backwards from the deadline?+

Yes. Include commissioning, defect resolution, invoices and claim evidence before the final date, not only physical completion.

Who should own the delivery plan?+

The board should name a responsible project lead while retaining appropriate approvals and oversight for material changes.

What if a supplier scope changes?+

Record the reason, cost, eligibility and programme effect, then obtain the approvals required by the contract, board and fund conditions.

What might change the recommendation?+

Starting work quickly is not the same as protecting eligibility. The organisation must follow its award conditions and should not make grant-dependent commitments before they are permitted.
