The answer you need

What belongs in a commercial air-conditioning brief?

Define comfort or process temperatures, occupancy, hours, internal gains, ventilation, resilience, controls, appearance, access and the acceptable installation programme before selecting equipment.

The property-specific checks

What will FLO check for your property?

We use these details to work out what is practical, what needs more investigation and what the next step should be.

01

Duty

Separate comfort, process and continuous loads with the right design conditions.

02

Resilience

Agree critical zones, redundancy, alarms and response expectations.

03

Lifecycle

Plan access, filters, drains, refrigerant records and replacement routes.

The next step with FLO

What will your assessment and quote cover?

FLO starts with your property, then explains the recommended work, the price, important exclusions and the next steps in writing.

Questions you may have.

Can one system heat and cool different areas at once?+

Some system types can, but the need, refrigerant architecture, controls and energy implications should be confirmed from the actual zoning.

What determines the installation programme?+

Access, business hours, ceiling and electrical work, equipment lead time, commissioning and whether temporary conditions are required.

Who is responsible for F-gas records?+

Responsibilities depend on system charge, ownership and service arrangements. The operator should retain the required asset and maintenance information.

What might change the recommendation?+

A lowest-price equipment schedule can omit access, controls, electrical work, drainage or resilience. Compare full operational outcomes and exclusions.
