The answer
Is roof area the main solar limit?
Warehouses may have large solar roofs, but the strongest plan also considers structural capacity, daytime electricity load, tall-space heating, loading-door losses and future vehicle charging. Roof size alone cannot select the system.

Follow the way the warehouse operates
Map shift patterns, lighting, refrigeration or process loads and vehicle movements. A distribution centre with constant electrical demand can use solar differently from a storage shed with little daytime use. In tall spaces, heating the air near the roof may waste energy; occupied zones and loading doors need a separate comfort strategy.

Check shared infrastructure
Roof condition, structure, fire strategy, grid import and export capacity, distribution-board space and downtime windows can each limit a proposal. If forklifts, EVs or heat pumps are planned, include them in the electrical model now. A phased scheme should preserve cable routes and connection capacity for later stages.
